Scholarship Winner

Creation has always been a passion for Michael. The sight of his first meteor shower inspired his fascination with astronomy. As this interest grew, Michael developed a better understanding of our solar system and what lies beyond our world. At an early age, making his own telescope using a magnifying glass, cardboard tubes and tape, he continues to be inspired and learn. He plans to attend UC San Diego and earn a degree in Aerospace Engineering with the hopes of pursuing a career in research and development of expanding space exploration.
