Maya has been enrolled in the child development pathway at OHS and through this experience, she has solidified her desire of becoming an elementary school teacher. Maya has a passion to help children in many different ways, which is why, along with her teaching credential, she plans to pursue a degree in psychology as well. As a well-rounded student, Maya has been involved in cheerleading and various different volunteer activities in and out of school, while maintaining excellent grades in her academic classes.
