Scholarship Winner

As a young child, Evelyn dreamed of working in the medical field and when she became involved in the OHS Health Careers Academy, she realized this dream can come true. With her involvement in the HCA, she was able to obtain an internship at the TrueCare Community Clinic where she shadowed doctors and nurses and became deeply involved with the health care profession. She is focused on attending MiraCosta College in the fall and obtain her degree in Nursing to be able to work with children.
