Active in the Health Careers Academy at OHS, Abril is pursuing a career as a Registered Nurse. She will first attend MiraCosta College and then transfer to San Diego State University to continue her studies. She plans to specialize in pediatrics or in the NICU—children and babies are her passion. She will be the first in her family to attend college.
